Learn To Curl

CLINICS

Come give curling a try!  A Learn-to-Curl clinic is a great way to experience the fun of curling first hand.  Clinics begin with an off-ice discussion which provides general information about the sport.  We'll talk about the history of the game, rules, strategy, scoring, etiquette and safety.  Next we'll head out on the ice where instructors work with you as you learn the basics of the curling delivery and sweeping.  Finally, you will put your newly learned skills to the test while playing a short game.

WHAT YOU NEED

All equipment is provided by the club including brooms, and step on sliders.  Wear warm, comfortable clothing and stretchy or loose fitting pants that allow freedom of movement.  Thin gloves and a hat are recommended, and please bring a clean pair of shoes to wear on the ice (tennis shoes or similar).
